New Drexel LeBow Building To Include Faculty Wall of Fame

June 01, 2011

The new LeBow College of Business academic building opening in 2014 will include a Faculty Wall of Fame to recognize the most outstanding teachers and professors who have influenced generations of students throughout the college’s history, Dean George P. Tsetsekos, Ph.D., announced.

Dr. Hazem Maragah

“I am especially grateful to Professor Hazem Maragah, who brought this idea to my attention and plans to follow up with a significant financial commitment to make this possible,” Tsetsekos said.  “It is more than fitting that our new building – a state-of-the-art home to educate future and current business leaders, support intellectual discoveries of faculty, and facilitate engagement with the business community and alumni – will have a special place to pay tribute to those who embody the spirit and mission of Drexel LeBow: our faculty.”

Tsetsekos has convened a faculty task force to develop the criteria and process used to select faculty to be honored on the Wall of Fame.   Members of the task force include the following faculty: Tony Curatola (chair), Tom Hindelang, Rich Freedman, Bert Rosenbloom, Jeff Greenhaus and Haz Maragah -- all faculty members with long service in the college.
